Starting On Deck No-Code
It's been longer than I care to admit that I've attempted a project where I genuinely am uncomfortable and not within my typical skillset. Over the past few months, I started seeing posts from people involved with On Deck and ultimately started researching and becoming more fascinated with this idea of "No-Code."
I chose to apply to this program for a few reasons, but these two stood out in my mind:
- I am challenging myself to become a "builder" vs. "idea person" where they won't leave my head.
- The caliber of individuals & community working together on projects that they are passionate about putting into existence
My first goal is to have a clear and defined scope for my first project to build and ship within two weeks. It doesn't have to be the best or a profitable project, but it will start in the right direction.
The second goal (which is as necessary) is to make sure I show up for everyone else in the community and listen and give the best perspective I can as a marketer, salesperson, and overall tech enthusiast. I'm excited to see what we all create over the next eight weeks.
Get my newsletter and will post weekly here. I'm excited to start sharing more publicly and am grateful that you are interested in this small pocket of the Internet.
